Member Applications

The system developed following the success of online race entry. In addition to the traditional paper based method on-line applications via the club website evolved in an attempt to make the application process easier for those preferring online methods.

System went live September 2021

A simple form that requires a google ReCAPTCHA before it can be submitted

Concepts

  1. Complete form and tick off “I'm not a robot”
  2. Submit - Processes form data into a text file and 2 emails:-
  • Email 1 - Confirmation to Applicant containing all form content fields so they can x-check for any errors. Those would be dealt with by normal correspondence. System contains no method to edit/re-submit
  • Email 2 - Sent to Office@helensburghsailingclub.co.uk with attachment [text file of data]
