In August 2022 Hosting for the club website and email was moved to https://www.a2hosting.com/ using their “Drive” package that gives unlimited webspace, 15Gb email and automatic nightly backups. Their service proved exemplary during the transition and worthy of the 5 star reviews they get.
Previously web/email space was very limited, just enough for the web pages but so limited that email could not be retained on the server , so had to be PoP'd to the club laptop. This in turn meant a separate backup regime was required.
Under A2hosting emails are accessed via IMAP, both preserving emails on the server and being automatically backed up online every 24 hours. In addition it can be accessed via webmail using either Roundcube or Horde.
